Netplay on Fire TV Stick: Big-Screen Setup
Install Netplay APK on Fire TV Stick: Downloader steps, remote tips and performance settings for smooth big-screen streaming.

The streaming app runs well on Fire TV Stick and other Android TV boxes. The interface scales to the big screen and works with a remote. Here is the setup, tested on a Fire TV Stick.
Get the APK onto the Stick
The easiest route is the Downloader app on the Fire TV. Open it, enter the download page URL from the download page, and grab the file. Fire OS will ask to allow installs from Downloader once; that is the same one-time toggle Android phones show.
Install and open
Open the downloaded file, install it, and find the app in your apps list. The first launch takes a few seconds while it builds the home rail. Sign in is not required.
Remote-friendly tips
Use the directional pad to move and the center button to select; long-press opens options on most screens. If text entry is painful with the on-screen keyboard, pair the Fire TV phone app for a real keyboard. For playback help, our settings guide covers the options worth changing on a TV.
Performance notes
On the Stick, prefer 1080p or lower for live channels; the little dongle appreciates the mercy. Downloaded titles play the smoothest of all, so queue a few on Wi-Fi with our offline downloads guide before movie night.
