Test Lab Protocol
How We Review
No download button goes live on this site until the file behind it passes our review. Here is the process, step by step.
1. Source check
We record where the build came from, its version number, package name and file size. Anything that does not match the release notes is rejected.
2. Malware scan
The file is scanned with multiple engines. A single flag stops the publish and triggers a manual review.
3. Real-device install
Sofia installs the build on actual Android phones and an Android TV box, covering several Android versions. She opens the app, browses, and plays streams on Wi-Fi and mobile data.
4. Feature test
Downloads, subtitles, continue-watching and settings are exercised. If a headline feature does not work as described, the page says so plainly.
5. Publish and monitor
Only then does the button go live. We keep watching for broken links and user reports, and a broken file is pulled the same day it is confirmed.
That is the whole system. Boring, repeatable, and it keeps the file you download identical to the file we tested.
The Promise
No download button goes live until the file behind it passes every step above. Boring, repeatable, and it keeps the file you download identical to the file we tested.
