Account guide: what works without signing in, what sync adds, and how to use one account across devices.

Do you need an account to use the Netplay APK? Mostly no, but signing in unlocks one genuinely useful feature. Here is the full picture.

Watching without an account

The app opens and plays without any sign-in. Browse, stream live channels, download titles and use subtitles with no account at all. If you just want to watch, you are done at install.

What an account adds

Signing in syncs your continue-watching progress across devices. Start a movie on your phone, finish it on the TV box. Without an account, each device keeps its own progress.

Creating an account

Open the profile section in the app and follow the sign-up flow. It takes under a minute. Use an email you actually check, since that is where any verification lands.

Switching devices

Sign in with the same account on the second device and your progress appears. If a title does not resume at the right spot, force-close and reopen the app on both devices; sync catches up. For the install itself, our install guide has the steps, and the settings guide covers what to tune first.
