Netplay Subtitles: Setup and Sync Fixes

Subtitle setup guide: turning them on, adjusting size and timing, and fixing out-of-sync tracks. Tested in v10.0.

Movie scene on glowing arcade screen with neon subtitle bar

Version 10.0 handles subtitles well once you know where the controls live. This guide covers turning them on, picking tracks, and fixing the two sync problems in the Netplay APK.

Turning subtitles on

Start any title, tap the screen to show the player controls, and open the subtitle menu. Available tracks are listed by language. Pick one and it applies instantly; the app remembers your choice for the next title.

Adjusting size and timing

The player settings let you change subtitle size, and there is a sync slider for tracks that drift. Nudge the timing in small steps until dialogue lines up with lips; most drift is fixed within a second or two of adjustment.

Subtitles out of sync

If every track is off by the same amount, use the sync slider. If only one track is wrong, it is a bad subtitle file, not the app; switch to another track. Downloaded titles keep their subtitle timing offline, so fix it once and it stays fixed. Our offline guide covers downloads in detail.

No subtitles listed

Some titles genuinely have no subtitle tracks. Try the same title later; the library updates over time. If a whole category lacks subtitles, let us know and we will check it.
